About Me

Hi there, my name is Kathleen Grover. I have been a henna artist in the Northern Colorado area since 2008. I attended the Colorado Institute of Art for Graphic Design in Denver.

I have a fascination with the over 5,000 year old art of Mehendi which is commonly called Henna artistry. I specialize in safe, natural henna. All the ingredients included in my recipe are all natural, there are no harsh chemicals or PPD's. . I do not use "black" henna and strongly discourage anyone from having black henna applied to their skin.

I have been a participant in many local fairs in and around the Denver area and have many please clients. Designs by Harlequin offers henna tattoo, glitter tatto and face painting services for private events such as: Corporate events, bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties, church functions, henna crowns (for those who are undergoing chemotheraphy), family picnics, graduation parties or any private function that you may have going on.

I currently have three other henna artists that work with me whom are all family members. Brent, Tessa and Yvonne.   Each of us has our own specialty, however we are all standardized on our book of designs that we offer at our fairs and we can customize a design especially for you.
